1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Ribbons ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
Ribbons is a mobile application that allows you to track gifts you've given to people and save gift ideas for future occasions. All data you enter is stored locally on your device. The App does not require an account and does not sync data to external servers.
3. Permitted Use
You may use Ribbons for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to extract the source code of the App, except to the extent permitted by applicable law.
4. Your Data
All personal data you enter into Ribbons — including people, gifts, ideas, and preferences — is stored locally on your device. We do not collect, access, or store this data. You are solely responsible for maintaining backups of your data. Deleting the App will permanently remove all locally stored data.
5. Privacy
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes the limited anonymous analytics data we collect. By using the App, you consent to the practices described therein.
6. Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, code, graphics, and branding, is owned by the developer and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These terms do not grant you any rights to use the Ribbons name, logo, or branding.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
Ribbons is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of harmful components.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the developer of Ribbons shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from your use of or inability to use the App. Because all data is stored locally on your device, the developer is not responsible for any data loss resulting from device failure, app deletion, or other causes.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
10. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device. We reserve the right to discontinue the App or restrict access to it at any time without notice.
